Elelock (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information through the Elelock Pro Audit (“the app”). The app is available globally and this policy reflects applicable privacy standards.

2. Information We Collect
Elelock Pro Audit does not collect personal data directly. Users access the app via an activation code that links the app to an externally managed user account containing information such as name and email address. The app requires location permission solely to enable Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning necessary for communication with electronic locks; however, no location data is collected or used.

3. How We Use Information
The app interacts with Elelock’s secure servers to retrieve authorized lock information and audit logs. Operational data including audit logs and user-inputted names (such as reader devices, door names, and RFID card users) are stored locally on the device to support audit display features. This data is not transmitted to Elelock or any third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share any personal or operational data with third parties. All communications occur exclusively between the app and Elelock’s server infrastructure.

5. User Rights and Choices
While Elelock Pro Audit does not provide in-app tools for data management, users or account administrators may contact Elelock to:

  • Request deactivation of app access associated with their device
  • Request correction of account-related information
  • Elelock will address such requests in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

6. Security Measures
We employ industry-standard security measures to protect data and communications, including:

  • Encryption of communications between the app and Elelock servers via HTTPS (TLS)
  • Encryption of Bluetooth Low Energy communications with electronic locks

7. Data Retention
Data stored locally on the user’s device—including audit logs and user-entered names—is retained indefinitely until the user deletes it or reinstalls the app.
Elelock retains account information and device activation records indefinitely to facilitate service continuity.

8. Children’s Privacy
Elelock Pro Audit is not designed for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Elelock may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When changes occur, the revised policy will be posted on the app’s website or relevant app store listing. We encourage users to review this policy regularly.
